This is a virtual-online solopiano festival with 4 concerts out of my home in western Austria.
Every concert will bring also a composition that fits the theme of the festival - SOLIDARITY.
Thanks to „Stiftung Philanthropie Österreich“ we are able to cover the basic costs of this production.
During the stream there will be also the possibility to buy a virtual ticket and make donations. These will go directly to the artists and they will also donate part of it to people who they thinks really need it.
Please come and join us for these streams, always starting at 21:00 (CET)

Peter Madsen - Piano
Peter Madsen has been my teacher for almost 10 years - I owe him so much, almost everything I know about music.
He has had a very successful career now for almost 50 years on the international jazzscene, recorded hundreds of CDs and played with jazz greats like Stan Getz, Stanley Turrentine, Dewey Redman, George Coleman, Kenny Garrett, Joe Lovano, Pee Wee Ellis, Chris Potter, Fred Wesley and so many more. I’m really happy and honored that he agreed to open this little virtual festival!
Wednesday 10.06.2020 - 21:00
Verena Zeiner - Piano
I met Verena Zeiner many years ago at a festival in Zeillern, Austria. Since then I follow her music and she just released a great solopiano CD called „No Love Without Justice“.
To say it in the words of master piano player Shai Maestro: „"Verena Zeiner’s new album is absolutely stunning. Sensitive, honest and captivating. I really recommend you give it a serious listen, it’s worth it." - Beautiful Music!
Sunday 14.06.2020 - 21:00
Viola Hammer - Piano
I just met Viola Hammer for the first time a few months ago when we played a double-concert in Graz, Austria. I really enjoyed her playing back then so I thought I want to invite her as well. She also
just released a new solopiano album called „Places“ on the austrian broadcasting label „Edition Ö1“, receiving great reviews. - Fascinating soundscapes!
Wednesday 17.06.2020 - 21:00
David Helbock - Piano
Without the corona crisis I would have been on my way to Jazzbaltica in northern Germany, where I would have played a soloset on june 18th. But now virtually instead - I will end this festival playing pieces of my latest solopiano CD „Playing John Williams“ (ACT Music) but also adding some of my own compositions and maybe some Prince and Thelonious Monk as well.
Come and join us!
